Net-Zero Home in California
Our clients wanted a modern, light filled and generous home paired with extraordinary energy-efficiency: a net-zero home. This means that the energy balance between energy use and on-site energy production equals zero.
Thanks to a generous solar array it turned out that the home actually produces more energy than it uses. Super insulated walls, passive and active solar design, triple glazed German windows help keep the house at a pleasant indoor climate all year round.
Besides an open plan layout this home also has a double height space, a pool and an ADU unit.
