Rob Shearer
Architect AIA
Rob has been a licensed Architect for over 20 years. He is also a former HERS Rater, who implemented the Energy Efficient New Homes Program for FIrstEnergy in Ohio until the program was terminated. Rob also received his online Permaculture Design Certificate from Geoff Lawton in 2021. From 2014 to 2025, Rob worked as a consulting architect for several local firms in the Cleveland area. During this time, he learned a lot about how other architects operate. In 2024, together with long time clients Alexander and Michelle Kolbe, and Mike Farinacci, Rob formed Quadriga Studio, bringing to that team the best of what he learned as a consultant. In 2026, Quadriga Merged with another of Rob's long time clients, Joe Myers Architects in Willoughby, Ohio.
Joe Myers
Architect
Joe founded Myers Architects in 1988 and has been involved in every project that has passed through its doors since. With a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati, he has over 30 years experience with all kinds of residential and commercial design and has forged long-standing relationships with colleagues in every aspect of the design and construction process.
Alexander Kolbe
Design Lead
Before moving to the US in 2009 Alexander had an architecture studio in Berlin, Germany and later in London, UK.
He does a lot of our designs and works with our clients to establish a program for the design project at hand.
Alexander has a lot of experience overseas, having worked on projects in Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland, China, Colombia and the Philippines.
He has a lot of expertise in sustainable and energy efficient design.
He also taught a few semesters at Kent State University
Michelle Kolbe
Design Development Lead
Upon graduation from Kent State University with a degree in architecture, Michelle gained international experience in residential, retail and commercial design in both Germany and England. Michelle collaborated with, among others, architect Arata Isozaki in his Berlin office in the mid-nineties, soaking up the vibrancy and excitement of the post-reunification era.
She has a wealth of experience in the fields of energy efficient architectural design, client relations, and construction management. Her solid knowledge in current building science, serve as a perpetual source of inspiration for our array of designs.

Mike Farinacci
Production Lead
Mike has 20 years of experience in the high-end residential field as a carpenter. A graduate of Kent State University with a BA in architecture, he worked 4 years in the field as a rough and finish carpenter after graduation. The next 7 years he spent working for RSA Architects in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, designing, drawing, and supervising construction of single family, multifamily, and small commercial projects. Mike has great expertise in creating construction documents and details. As our Vice President of Product Delivery he’s the hinge between design, the manufacturing plant and on-site construction.
Nici Trem
Interior Designer
Nici is an interior designer with a Bachelor of Arts from Kent State University and over 20 years of experience in the interior design industry. Her work spans both residential and commercial projects, with a strong focus on kitchen and bathroom design, as well as office, healthcare, and hospitality environments. Nici previously served as an interior designer at Joe Myers Architects and continued her role
following the firm’s merger with Quadriga, where she collaborates with architects and designers on a wide range of projects.
Ryan Schmidt
Designer II
Ryan graduated from Kent State University in 2020. Ryan knows he'll never stop learning and his preference is unique residential design. Currently, he is back at Kent State for his Master of Architecture so he can obtain licensure.
Dominic Wojtila
Designer III
Dominic graduated from Kent State with a Master of Architecture + Master of Urban Design in 2020. He has worked with multiple firms in the Cleveland area on a wide variety of project types including residential, commercial, educational facilities, and federal buildings. He is planning to obtain licensure in the near future to become a certified architect.
Cooper
Head of Safety
Cooper’s field of expertise is keeping staff and clients safe and entertained. He is in charge of treats and toys, while making sure that no one passes by the office unnoticed. He’s a true asset with his extraordinary knowledge in testing the durability of tennis balls and shoes, as well as in his double function as undercover paper shredder.
His favorite pastime is making his humans throw sticks for him. He loves to take extensive walks in the woods or around our beautiful lakes.
